  Following are the minutes from the July 22th 2nd meeting of the first
subcommittee (charter drafting subcommittee):

Agenda:
 - Start draft of the association charter


  The subcommittee reviewed charters from EthCITA and the Ethiopian
Mathematics Society to formalize a charter for the association.  The
association objectives, membership structure and fee schedules, and
legislative bodies are discussed.  A preliminary legislative body is
devised comprising of a board, executive committee, and permanent
standing committees.  The powers each body is enabled with and the
officiation process itself will be discussed in following meetings.

  The meetings adjourned at 6PM and the next meeting is scheduled
for Tuesday July 29th at 4:30PM at the AAU Mathematics Department.
